cannabis infused tea

Everyone has heard of smoking marijuana before. Even eating edibles, which are cannabis-infused food products, is a common thing among the marijuana crowd. But have you ever heard of a marijuana-spiked drink? Thanks to the innovative brain of whoever thought of this magnificent idea, cannabis-infused tea is spreading around the world like wildfire. As crazy as it seems, it is actually renowned as one of the healthiest drinks that a person can have. Due to the abundant vitamins and nutrients that the cannabis plant carries, it has been consumed by many people in all areas because of its beneficial effects. Add that to the already-healthy drink of tea in general, and you have one of the tastiest beverages around.

WHAT IS Cannabis Infused Tea AND HOW DO I MAKE IT?

Marijuana tea is a beverage that is derived from the cannabis plant. It is famous for the health benefits that can be derived from it and it is a staple drink in countries and states where the possession and use of marijuana are legal. Although it is a less known method of ingesting marijuana as compared to smoking or eating it, drinking marijuana-infused tea will lead to the same physical and psychological effects as the two methods stated above. Since cannabis tea is taken through oral consumption, the amount of time it takes to feel the effects of being high may tend to be longer as compared to smoking it. Also, the effects of ingesting cannabis tea tend to last longer.

The process of making your own marijuana tea is quite simple. Just like making any other cup of tea, it involves boiling water and dried tea leaves (which in this case, is cannabis leaves). Simply take a cup of water, put it into a pot, and wait for it to boil. Once the water starts a rolling boil, add the cannabis leaves and simmer. Depending on how potent you want your tea, boiling the leaves may take around 10-15 minutes. After boiling, place it into a container for storage purposes. Take note that the more potent your tea is, the stronger the taste and subsequent effects of the beverage are.

  • Reduce stress – Many people consume marijuana tea as a way to reduce their stress levels. Because of the relaxing effects caused by the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) compound in marijuana leaves, this type of tea is perfect for early mornings before work. Present in this tea is mood-boosting cannabinoids that can reduce the level of hormones and also reduce anxiety. It also reduces the risk of having a heart attack and stroke by relaxing a person’s blood vessels and arteries.
  • Relieve chronic pain – Perhaps one of the most common reasons for marijuana consumption is the treatment of chronic pain and drinking marijuana-infused tea is no exception to that. Because THC is able to interact with the pain receptors in our brain like a normal pain reliever, cannabis has been a staple when looking for practical resolutions to pain treatment.
  • Cleans digestive system – Like any other normal cup of tea, cannabis tea is known for its cleansing effects on the stomach. It can also relieve discomfort and inflammation in the stomach, curing the user of nausea and vomiting.

Improves the heart – Cannabis has the ability to lower blood pressure and improve the circulation flow of arteries and tissues, directly impacting the way a user’s heart functions. Because smoking weed could directly have a negative impact on a person’s heart but blocking the arteries, drinking it as tea could be a more practical solution since it avoids any bad effects that smoking has.
